Every single time I go to Edinburgh, there is one place I systematically have to visit and it’s the Quinn’s. Yeah it’s not a Michelin star restaurant but it’s authentic. Plates are generous, prices are affordable and the staff is amazing. I always feel at home there with their warm welcome and attention.

I ordered the full scottish breakfast, the taste didn’t disappoint and we really enjoyed the new tastes such as haggis and potato scone. However, i did find a small piece of hair in my mushrooms which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the meal was great.

We ordered two breakfasts, one vegetarian and one full, and both were absolutely delicious. The café was very clean and easily accessible. The staff were super friendly, and even the chef came to welcome us, which gave us such a warm feeling right from the entrance. I truly recommend this place.

Truly an incredible café that is conveniently located in the heart of Edinburgh and easily accessible before your day’s adventures. Mike is extremely kind and caring- he asked everyone if they needed directions and you can tell that he truly cares about people that come and dine. I ordered the full breakfast and didn’t leave a crumb behind- it was delicious and a great way to fuel up for a long day of sightseeing! If you’re planning a trip in the Edinburgh area definitely include this on your list of stops! I’ve never had a dining experience like this where both the food and friendliness is top notch. Thank you to Quinn’s Cafe!

Popped in around 8:45am to this cosy little café. Nice and quiet, perfect for enjoying my first Scottish breakfast in peace. Mike, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and kindly talked me through the menu. Very helpful, especially as this was my first ever haggis (which was amazing, by the way). Top-tier hosting. Small place, big flavour. Everything was fresh, quick, and absolutely spot on. Washed it down with my first-ever Irn-Bru. Another Scottish milestone unlocked. ???????????????????????? Massive shout-out to Mike and the chef. What a guy. You can really feel the care that goes into this place. Mike, you’re doing an incredible job every single day, and I genuinely wish you all the best with your café and your journey. Keep going, it shows. Ignore any bad reviews and try this place for yourself. I’ll 100% be back. ????????????????????????

A lovely little cafe and perfect to start your day. We both had a Scottish breakfast which was lovely and really fresh. Mike, the owner I presume, was lovely and asked people if they needed directions or recommendations of where to go in Edinburgh. A really reasonable price for breakfast too - £30 for 2 breakfasts, 2 teas and 1 orange juice. Highly recommend and will be visiting again when we come back to Edinburgh!!

Mike was great, he was very kind and helpful. Great service. However, the food was just average. Not bad, but won’t blow your mind. I think what made for this experience is Mike’s service :)) The shop could use better queue management system too though, because there’ll be dogs like the man in the picture below who’ll cut your queue despite knowing you came there first and have been waiting before he did.
